Hi everyone. For all you gravity freaks out there, here's a test program I wrote a while back that simulates launching a spaceship to the moon.
Be warned. This simulation is VERY HARD! These are the steps

1)You first start in Low Earth Orbit
2)Accelerate to (earth)escape velocity+
3)Coast towards the moon
4)Adjust velocity so that you're captured by the moon
5)Orbit the moon a few times to prove your success
6)Accelerate to (moon)escape velocity+
7)Coast towards the earth
8)Adjust velocity so that you're captured by the earth
9)Orbit the earth a few times to prove that you've returned home.

Keep in mind that while you're on your journey, the moon is also orbiting the earth.

Here are some still of my successful trip.

Because this was something I was just trying out, I accidentally wrote over the source code. What this means that I'm unable to fix the most annoying problems of the program.
1) It's hard coded for a screen size of 1680 X 1050. If your card can't go into that mode, the program will not work.
2) If you mess up you have to press "ESC" to exit the program and start again.
Moon Capture (PC only)

If any of you are able to try it out, let me know how it goes.
It might me too hard. Who knows.
