Here's a few screensavers I made last year. Nothing too exciting, but a few peeps like em. I sell them each for 1.00.

They're designed to work on wide screen but will scale to non wide devices. They work on Vista, I have no idea if they work on W7.

Wow, you've certainly been busy. The flames look great.

The flames one looks pretty nice... (And does work on Windows 7 x64, FYI)

Thx!

"And does work on Windows 7 x64, FYI"

ooooh..... BIGGER thx! :)

Nice, though doesn't run in preview window, mine do ;-) There are a couple of posts in the code archives that show you how to do it for B3D and MAX.

Were there written in Blitz MAX?

Excellent stuff - the hotflames one was particularly cool! One small thing (not really related to your screensavers) - the uninstalls leave the parent directory (containing uninstall.exe) behind.

All ran fine in preview mode on my WinXP SP3 machine.

Thx Chalky - I didn't know the installer left residue, I hate it when that happens.

BS - Yah, I just display an icon, perhaps if I code any more I'll try to make real time preview work. ;)

Yes, they are all in bmax.

That sounds so wrong when I read that in my head! :D

Anyhoo, nice collection there!

lol Dabz. :)

The Fireworks Supreme doesn't work in Win7 64-Bit Home Premium, just gives a "Unable to initialize Direct-X" error. Direct X 11 of course with Win7, but I did install Direct-X 9 in an attempt to fix it, but no go.

I really like the flame one... makes the computer look really cool when sitting idle... too bad I cant put images behind the flames... maybe I could take pictures of key people at work and put them back there ;)

MGE(Posted 2009) [#12]
That's not a bad idea for an upgrade feature Skully. Thanks. :)

OldSkool - That particular screensaver was not designed with my blitzmax kit, that's an old VB6 product. I'm aware of the problems. Frigging DLL hell with that one. ;)

OldNESJunkie(Posted 2009) [#13]
DLL hell isn't the half of it then, been there, done that, got the t-shirt & the stress induced crazies as well LOL

Agree, nice work.
It all looks pretty frickin' sweet! And they run at decent speeds in real-time, too!
