thanks skully.. i forget mention...

all graphics are from Carmen Ossoinak, an argentine artist...

Played the demo. Things I would change:

Menus:
- the main and options menu don't match the sytle of the other ones.
-> use the same font / image style to make all sections feel as "one".
- offer mouse support
- offer full screen support

Game:
- it would be cooler if the submarine would shoot torpedos (even cute ones)

- your're "wasting" 1/3 of the screen for the sky. If there are no planes or birds to shoot. Why use so much space for it. You could also add clouds, that cast shadows... :)

- I played the game in English. Some translation errors, though native speakers might be better for pointing those one out.
- "sound volumen" -> "sound volume"
- "ambient volumen" -> "ambient volume"
- "music volumen" -> "music volume"
- or even shorter: Sounds, Background Sounds, Music

If you reach the end of a mission I wouldn't expect a sign "Puerto". When playing the English version. I would choose a graphics for thia that everyone can identify as "port".

thanks Grisu!..

all your comment are very usefull.

about the fullscreen, i'm trying to avoid the graphics conflicts in some computers, to many peolple don't understand the setups. i learning to made games witout haveing errors... like MAV.

can you send me a screenshoot?, the fonts are like that?

mouse option is a good idea!.

about the sky, i like to put some pelicans, or something to give more difficult to the game...

Here you go:

My English isn't perfect either.

If you need a German translation, I could help.

Grisu

P.S.
- Instead of stating your website in the background, I would add a item like "Visit Website" or "Updates" to your menue.
- add some min / max to the option items: "Sounds: 1/10"
- can't you use bitmap fonts for the menu?

Santiworld(Posted 2009) [#7]
thanks grisu, i desinstalled my font, to see what happend..

i don't find the way to load a font if that font is not installed in windows..

now i put a temporary standar font "impact", i go to see what can i do to improve this problem..

i folow your advices... thanks!..

i added Torpedos, mouse control, fix some test.

nedd to fix yet the font problem..

thanks grisu..

i'm uploading the demo 1.01 with all fixes, in the web i upload the new video showing this improves

DaY(Posted 2009) [#8]
the best way around your font problem is to use bitmap fonts

that way you dont have to worry at all about fonts being installed on users pc's

Santiworld(Posted 2009) [#9]
thanks, i go to learn to use that bitmap fonts...

in a few minuts i upload the demo 1.1 in the web

Santiworld(Posted 2009) [#10]
i upload the new version of the demo.

www.latatoy.com.ar bubblesub section, download demo

Grisu(Posted 2009) [#11]
Very nice improvements!

- "ESCAPE" should exit the options menu as well.
- I would disable the "VMEM" display in a public demo.
