I've been doing alot of work on this recently so thought I'd show off some new mini game footage. Still lots of games and challenges to do but things are going well.

I do quite like this - it stands out agains the endless massess of 2D Blitz games.

Cool I remember this. It looks it could be a really cool Indie game when it's done. Good luck with it.

I like how you keep adding things like these separate game modes to make the game still better, even though it already looked like a playable game some time ago; it takes some patience and determination to do this. :)

StevieG,

Any timeframe for the release yet ? No rush, just curious, been awaiting this for some time now, looking better & better.

Hopefully in the next 3 months although don't hold me to that. I've recently managed to sort out my PC problems ( corrupt memory ) so cooking on gas right now. I've made alot of improvements to the structure, the cameras, effects and some general polishing in preparation for the final push.

I always intended to add at least 20 game modes and 100 challenges which will be variations of the game modes ( timed or with a set number of lives ). I hope to b able to include the ability to create your own games, the process of adding one is quite simple .. e.g. this is Survival in it's entirety, hard coded atm but will be a mini-game file eventually :

Case "SURVIVAL"

			LEVEL\Weapons = 1
			LEVEL\SelfDestructDamage = 0
			LEVEL\SelfDestruction = 1
			LEVEL\Lives = FIRST_TO
			LEVEL\Possession = 0
			LEVEL\Damage = 1
			LEVEL\Scoring = LOSE_LIFE
			LEVEL\ScoreTarget = 0
			LEVEL\PointerVisible = 0
			LEVEL\RespawnShield = 1
			LEVEL\ShieldAtStart = 1

			For l = 0 To TEAMS-1
				VEHICLEcreate( "TRUCK", l, -1 , TEAM_MULTI , LEVEL\Lives, "FRIGHTENED" )
			Next

			VEHICLEcreate( "TRUCK" , 8 , -1,2 , -1, "AGGRESSIVE" )
			VEHICLEcreate( "HUMVEE" , 8 , -1,2 , -1, "AGGRESSIVE" )
			VEHICLEcreate( "TANK" , 8 , -1,15 , -1, "AGGRESSIVE" )
			VEHICLEcreate( "GUNSHIP" , 8 , -1,3 ,-1, "AGGRESSIVE" )
			VEHICLEcreate( "STINGER", 8, -1,3,-1, "AGGRESSIVE" )
			VEHICLEcreate( "SENTRY" , 8 , -1,3 ,-1, "AGGRESSIVE" )
			BODYcreate( "MINE" , 8 , 15 )
			BODYcreate( "SUPERMINE" , 8 , 5 )

I'm impressed. I think it looks really good.

I love the fact that you remain true to your original concept, and have developed a precise original visual language of your own.

You manage to add refinements like rain and lightning chains in excellent ways.

It looks finished to me, so I'm hoping I'll be able to buy a copy soon?

Great stuff.. looks like good fun.. if it has online play I would recomend you submit this to Steam... its the sort of game they often take up from indies

Don't fancy physics over a networked game. Might add too many headaches tbh. I love the game though.

Yeah, sod that ;) Much as I'd like it to be playable online it aint gonna happen. It was designed as an offline party game and I'm sticking to it.
