Hi,
After much rewrite, I finally finish up my sequence-based effect system. It allows generation of effect on-the-fly in any b3d games. I just finished up an experimental build of the editor and here is the results:

This effect is created less than 5 mins and feature very basic mesh and texture. This tool will be a suite of tools that will be compile into my next game engine. So, one tool at a time.

I am hoping to make a beta version soon for people to test out and possibly get some feedback. =]

Hey thats really cool looking I would love to play with an editor like this.

Something i've always tinkered with. I'd love to see it finished!

Thanks! I am just putting the final touches on the editor before doing beta testing. This is another effect just did with random images. For those who played FF, I think you will know what I am trying to do here haha

make a blitzmax minib3d version

Nack(Posted 2009) [#6]
never thought of that, if minib3d uses the same command set (which seems to be from what I can tell), I don't see why not.

Ill see how the reaction is first then see if a bmax mini3d will be a good idea. No point testing blitzmax if no one were to use it =P

Some sample effects, I am no artist, took roughly 5 mins each to create:

Yeh, I can see it being useful for spells in a RPG game.
