Good work, there seems to be an end to my code-snippet-mess. Archiving to zip and search within compressed archive would be a cool addition.
Keep it up !

Very, very interesting!

All the code 'at hand' - useful.

can you add 'tags' to your internal database?
The single source files are 'downloaded' by the codearchive on BlitzBasic.com or do you manually copy&paste them?

I think it's possible to read the HTML page, grab the code (look for <pre class="code"> and then the first "</pre>") and save it.

yeah, great idea!

thereīs a lot more to come... this version of bCA (~ 5h of coding) was "written while thinking" and there are some heavy limitations... no tags right now, only single word search, only 1 folder in modules allowed, no inet-updates...

to be true, i have to rewrite the whole thing to add more flexibility and speed, BUT this is a "spare time project" and i donīt have much of free time ;) so please be patient!

all credits for the code-snippets will have to go to www.BlitzEtCetera.org!
itīs their work -> not mine. but as i donīt speak russian, i decided to write a little gui and so i came up with bCA.

this is a call to all...

-> please post a wish-list on this thread -> more people, more ideas ;)

cheers, chi

^A simple code formatter would be great.

chi(Posted 2009) [#8]
@ZJP: what exactly do you mean with "favorite folder"?

@Grisu: an indented preview? am i get you right?

cheers, chi

I just tripped over this again on my hard disk. Has it progressed at all?
