| Hi togehter, here is the first beta from Freeway Racer. For speed press the left ALT Key(Code 56). For left and right the direction keys (203 and 205). The goal is, you must drive so long you can on the freeway. Don`t crash with other cars. At the moment i have two icons on the street. Tank and zoom small. | I'm running Vista and I don't see a car nor the mouse cursor in the main menu. Can't play at all. ;( In addition I would advice to implement a multilingual text system. German mixed with English, so called Dinglish isn't that great at all... :o) |

| So the english version is include. Change it under "Einstellungen" German / English. Now i create new items and new objects on the street. Link is the same. |

| link in top post doesn't work. Looks interesting. Loaded it up but I can't move the car with keys or joystick. What are the controls please? |

| Hi Grey Alien. At the moment you can handle this only keyboard with ALT left and the error direction keys. And buy the way, over the top you can read this : For speed press the left ALT Key(Code 56). For left and right the direction keys (203 and 205) but Alt at first, because this is the speed. In the next version, you can switch to keyboard / joypad. It comes soon. Regards Blitzblaster |

| I was quite interested in trying this - as it reminds me of Konami's MSX game Road Fighter from the mid 80's. Unfortunately this is in German - including the installer and EULA. When I clicked on what I thought was START in the menu, I got a screen full of green text, with what looked like a close button. Not having a clue what the text said, I pressed every key on my keyboard and clicked the mouse all over the cross - but could not progress beyond this screen and in the end closed the demo via Task Manager. Any chance of an English version - or a text file explaining what the on-screen text says? |

| Now i can`t belive it. It`s so easy to handle this. When you go to "Einstellungen", you can change to "english". And the first infoscreen come only the first start. You can switch it off, with the mouse curser on the cruse, like a windows screen. It works... |

| I haven't tried this, but maybe you should set English to default instead of German. Most people won't know what "Einstellungen" means. Just a thought. |

| Ok i change the default to english. The new version comes in 1 hour. And i change it too, that the first screen can switch it off with the ESC key and i made the infoscreen at the first play bigger, than you can handle this easy. Now it is a bit unfortable. Thanks for the infos. |

| Weird - the cross button worked today, but it most certainly didn't the other evening! I like what I've seen of this game. Will give it a proper thrash tonight after work... |

| Ok - having played it for a while, the most annoying thing is the way the program often respawns you in the path of another car which moves so fast you don't have time to get out of the way. I actually lost 2 lives in a row like this - before I'd even had time to touch a key - more than once. In the end I got fed up and quit. Having said all that, I think the game is pretty good - far better than anything I have achieved at any rate! I particularly like the graphics and it has a good sense of speed. But the fact that you die as soon as you touch another car (even slightly) and then get killed through no fault of your own due to the respawn issue meant I didn't stay with it for very long. Of course it could just be that I'm pants at playing it... |

| Thanks Chalky for feedback. The problem with the early crash is really a problem. I give the car in the next version a shild for a while. |
