Looks very cool ( or am I supposed to say "mad for it"? ) I wouldn't even know where to begin writing something like this.

Damn clever. I could not even begin to imagine the processing required to do this.

Have to say though, the results are good, but the image repetition is far too great IMO. I gave it thousands of images to choose from but many areas it kept choosing the same few :-( even with tweaking the repetition setting. Much the same as in your examples above.

Good start though.

Nice work, PantsOff. Always wanted one of these for my porn collection.

It's not really that difficult to do, actually.

Is this not fairly similar to the process used to convert bitmaps into ascii?

Looks great man!

Geehawk..
I have (and nearly completed) ideas for a better scanning method with a unique thumbnail option. This will make the image less repetitive, but sometimes not make the final output look as good.
I needed to release a version at some point. So I thought I would release what i had. The less repitive functions will appear in v2
If you enable the auto update option, you will be told when a new version is ready. (prob next week)

Ross C..
The method is roughly the same... yet rather than having 256 2 tone images. This can process infinite colour images.
