This is to show my Xplorer game. I will need about 4 months from know to finish. The game consists of 5 worlds (10 level each) to explore. Please let me know your opinion and if it runs smoothly on your system (There is 1 known bug)
There are a lot of things I must compete such as Sprites, Options screen, Sounds e.t.c
I still need some animated characters in B3D format. If someone of you has interesting stuff drop me an e-mail

Here is the download link:

Nice idea though I'm missing a 3rd person camera.

And if you want to use an installer instead of a plain zip:

Give the installer an option to launch the game after installing, and please ensure the uninstaller works! It deleted only the exe, leaving the configfile and directory on my harddisc :(

Jake L.:
Thanks for your feedback. There is already a third person camera coded but due to the uncompleted options screen you cannot select it.
I am using Install Creator Pro and I don't know to setup an option for launching the game after and a 'Create Desktop icon' option also. I will read the help files in detail or contact the Clickteam company...
I noticed that Install Creator Pro uninstaller deletes the folder when the installed program does not creates additional files (a configuration file in Xplorer's case).

Hi I remember this, so you've worked on it a lot yes? Well I'll try it later with my boys.

Jake L.(Posted 2007) [#5]
@Moraldi: Try InnoSetup! As far as I know you can freely script it to behave like you want.

Grey Alien: Your memory rocks!
Jake L.: I checked the site. Looks interesting. Thanks a lot

Hi again!
The Xplorer game demo is ready and most important complete
I would like to know if it runs smoothly on your system
Any criticism is welcomed
There is no installation program at the moment. Just unzip the files in a folder of your choice.
Open the Readme.txt file to view the keys and an overview of the game...
You can download the demo from here: http://www.moraldigames.com/Xplorer/Xplorer.zip

Thanks in advance

Grey Alien(Posted 2007) [#8]
maybe you should put that zip link in the top post as well?

Hi again!
The Xplorer game is almost complete! I need to finish the last 3 levels
The final demo (first 2 levels) is complete and fully functional. You can:
1. Change between kids and normal mode
2. Save and load your games
3. Choose between chase or fixed cameras
4. Redefine keys
I need less than a month to finish the game.
The tools I used are:
a. Blitz3D
b. Sprite Candy
c. UUnwrap3D
d. Silo 2.0 (for modeling)
e. Lightray3D (for animations)
You can download the final demo (a windows installer) from here.
Please let me know your opinion about my first complete project.

PS: Can someone tell me which sites I can contact in order to sell my game?

Thanks!

im not sure if you know what you doing to my GPU.
It handles over 1.000.000 polys on screen and still have 60 fps.

thoe this fps seams to be weak. less than 30fps.

Are you using the coptentity to create stuff that whold explain the slowdown.

Iam prettu sure you hitted the surface bottel nec on my gfx card. it handles about 200 surfaces ok. but mor than that is a pain.

Do you have any fps counter. ?

the graphics is crisp.

i love the meny system.

Moraldi(Posted 2007) [#12]
Wings:
