Hi there;

I making some test that I'm trying to improve for a game.
Please tell me your computer configurations and FPS + Triangle counts.

50 to 58 fps, 40000 to 44000 triangles, computer spec 1.8 AMD, 600 odd MBytes ram, 128MBytes Graphics card. Nice, clean looking little FPS tester.... Hope this helps.

Athlon XP3000+ @ 2.16GHz, 1.5GB RAM, WinXP SP2, Radeon 9600 128mb.

However, all of the above results (with the exception of Naughty Alien) seem to be lurking within one or two frames of standard monitor refresh rates. Forcing vsync?

61FPS, around 45k tris.

System: amd athlon 64 dual core 4600+, 2gb ram and a radeon x1900 series card.

Tried it on my own box too, around 30FPS with same polycount. System: amd athlon 1900+, 512mb ram and a geforce 4 mx 420 card.

As gfk said, you most likely left vsync on in the demo.

You left vsync in your code.

I get 61 FPS which is my monitor refresh rate!

The full screen test ran at almost exactly the same speed as the windowed one on my machine.

Didn't work for me - I was in some kind of 'hanger', but the camera was just moving constantly to the right.

The keyboard was working but the camera was unrelentlessy moving to the right.

Post the source, or email it to me and I will fix it for you.
