Hey everyone. I've added some more, basic, features to my editor. This includes:

The ability to lock movement to any axis.
The ability to force movement along a grid on any or all axis.
A rotation mode.
Manipulation space: Local, Global or World.
Local and Global are the blitz equivilant. World means, the the World axis. Say you have a mesh rotated at 0,45,0. You switch to world mode and rotate it along the X axis, it will turn it, using the World axis.

Not much happening i guess, but i thought i'd post a small update.

Controls. Pretty universal.

Left click: Select a mesh
Left click and drag: Manipulate item along the X,Z axis
Right click and drag: Manipulate item along the Y axis.
Middle click and drag: Manipulate the camera.

XYZ at the top of the screen, is the Axis lock. The X Y and Z at the bottom, is the grid lock.

Still to add:

Scale mode
Parent mode
Bounding boxes for selected items
Visible links between parents and children
Alpha mode
Texture manipulation: Rotation, movement, scaling, applying
Collision setup
Event setup
Waypoint creator
Portals
Import meshes (essential)
And an exporter to .b3d (nearly finished)

Suggestions very much welcome :o)

I guess there's not much interest ;o) I'll post again when i've got something substantial.

I'm interested. I just tried it out. It took about 3 minutes of fiddling with the mouse to get the feel of it.
It seemed a little awkward at first but I was able to manipulate the objects fairly quickly once I got the hang of it.
I'll keep an eye out for updates.
