This looks interesting. I've not downloaded it yet.

ok, i'm hopeless at the football, but I think I got the offside thing under control now and by playing in attack my team can get draws - so it could be worse!

This is a very well put together game with lots of nice sim touches. I think the camera might work a little easier if it was centred halfway between the player and the ball because I keep getting stuck offside when the ball is in defence.

There's lots of attention to detail in this, lots of sub games, lots of little extras and they are what really makes a game great. I'm sure football fans are going to lap this up. I lack the cromozones to ever be good enough at this to buy it myself, but I think i'll do just a few more matches and see if I can get me a non-league goal for Cambridge United, my local team :)

I had a quick go at an earlier release and it is very well done so I'll look at this as well.
Reminds me of John Barnes Football from the Amiga (I think) where you controlled a single player.
Didn't get far with the 'personal' side of the it but the actual games were very good.

Dettermined though I was to score my goal I found a glitch. My manager kept reporting a lack of confidence and would not pick me to play, I persevered although couldn't find a way to directly effect the manager's opinion until eventually I gave up and transfered club, this may have been after the 10 matches but either way I got locked out and have only actually played 2 matches.

It seems matches you dont play are counted which is unfortunately frustrating especially as a newbie player I (we) don't have the skill to play the game yet.

So I never got my goal :(

Hey, this is terrific. I'm not a massive football fan (real life or games) but this is fun. As in real life, I suck at playing, though - got sent off in the second half. We lost 2-0. I consoled myself by winning a few quid on the nags before promply losing it all in the casino! :P

Well done, siread!

Thanks for your comments guys. With regards to confidence Becky, you can drink alcohol to bring your confidence levels back up. I might need to make this more apparent though, so thanks for pointing it out.

BTW, don't drink too much booze as you'll find that you fall over during the game. :)

Very nice game, I've looked for a game like this for a long time. But as far as I know you have to get a license of the football teams and players to use their real names. Just rename the first letter to avoid licensing problems.
