It is out, and will not be free, but cheap :-)

tried the demo, pretty decent terrain editor, nice and fast even on larger maps with lots of grids.

Any chance you could add a 3ds exporter? I tried the demo and it rocks, I really like the speed and rounded brush tool.

Yes I plan on adding a .3ds exporter, if I can get my head around the format :-) - and Zmatrix, yes I noticed the image link didn't work, but it is now fixed (it had an old url), thanks for pointing it out.

I got MAV on my system, I'm using a Chinsese WinXP, maybe contain some European Character? The shots looks nice tho.
