I've been looking for a way of doing Positional Spherical Mapping for a new game concept I am working on. Firstly I wanted to know if I could emulate something like the blob of Tar in GISH. This small demo is of a small 2D polygon being rotated, in fact the mesh could be deformed in anyway and it will still keep the texture. The code to calculate the mapping is less than 10 Lines!
