do you have the equivalent to picking,entityinview or entityvisible?

I got blitz_gluPerspective- not found

I put the DLL's in every folder I could think of and no joy,
also put decls into userlibs folder

Slenker, that is from the gl userib. It's there. Or you're using a version of b3d that is newer.

I don't have Blitz3D anymore, so maybe.

Try the version circa last november. It's the same package everyone else got. So the files are there.

Slenker, did you copy the .dlls in the dll folder into system32.

Also, to compile the examples you need to copy the include folder into the example folder. or copy them into the main folder.

There was a bug in the last version. SetentityScale defaults to 0,0,0 as v1.2 introduced true hierachy(sp?) based meshes.

Scale is accumulative across sub entities.

For folks with the blitz_gluPerspective/etc. problems, copy this into a file in your userlibs folder called "Glu32.decls":

Edit2: Not sure what to do about the BankPointer stuff.

You shouldn't need any other files or alterations, the examples should run right off the bat.
You have to scale Entities to 1,1,1 if you're using the latest update, but other than that..not sure.

I've actually had those sorts of troubles recently, going back to Vivid to play about with things a bit. It worked before, and now doesn't.

Get error in blitz_gl.bb "function blitz_gluPerspective not found"

both files installed:
VividGL-Lite-SDK-V1.exe
Update2.exe

all decls installed, some functions like "blitz_glDepthRange" present, some other not.

@evak where get you these three files?

Yeah upload it if you like.
Evak can't allow it..Although his involvement in Vivid was critical. Very critical. Critical of just about everything vivid did in fact..:)

Tutorials, I don't think so. I can't remember much of Vivid's workings by now. I'd be happy to host any on my site if someone wishes to do some though, or even include them with vivid.

Vivid is open source btw, so people can add to it.

Anyone can tell me what is the steps for install and run de exzamples???? They dont work me.

I have the dlls in system32 folder and in the main folder of the project, the DECLS files in userlibs of the Blitz folder.

I must overwrite the files of the vividGL-Lite-SDK.exe with the update1 files?? and then overwrite with the update 2 files?? Please explain me how install everything correctly.

Its right, install the sdk, overwrite it with update1 and update2.
I´ve also tested various .dll-locations.
At least i´ve copied the .dll´s to Blitz3d\bin and Windows\system. The decls to \userlibs and the includes-folder complete into the examples-folder. thats all.

i had compare the sdk and update2, with update1. In update1 really some decls more as in update2. This was, why some glu_.... functions are not present.

@ antony:
How can i set Texture-Flags like alpha,masked,reflection etc. with Vivid?

Thansk Shodan i followed your instructions but i have the same error, when i open the Vivid_example1.bb when i run it i have this error: "User lib not found", in debug mode the program stops in this line: "Texture_InitSystem();vital call.do not remove or texture support will not function at all"

Seems to be the decls are present, but the dll was not found. I´ve tried to reproduce this error. When i remove the decl, Blitz does not found the specific function. Did you copy the dll´s to blitz\bin?

A lot of thanks Shodan!!! , i received the email i copied the dll to the Program File\Blitz3D\bin folder and in the same folder of the example and the decls to the userlibs folder, i opened the Vivid_example1.bb but i have the same error "User lib not found" :-(. I dont know, im becoming crazy :-)
