Ok..well i have finished the first draft of my b3d importer
document - it should be of some help to anyone trying to
import the b3d models into custom game engines and apps.
I have included my old c/c++ parser code..which might
be a handy, if a little messy reference :p

Its probably got a few mistakes in it - so dont get too
excited...One thing springs to mind already, but i because
im not hosting the file, im not going to change the doc for
a while...basically i say that brushes can appear anywhere
in the hierarchy...but this obviously isnt the case..lol,
anyway - download + have a read + pass comments + mistakes
my way...thanks :] + enjoy...

+big thanks to orca for hosting this :]

You might also want to look at the B3D doc in my sig.

(PS. Defoc8 - why do you keep pressing Return in your posts?)

ok - yeh, i knew about dragos doc, should have put a link
to that in my own doc..oops!. thanks for that beaker..
Anyway, dragos doc is probably much better, but the code
i have supplied might still be of some use...

(PS - i cant help it :[) ;)

Since you wrote it: Isn't it somewhere on a backup?

????

Why was this topic bumped? What's it doing in ShowCase???

Defoc8(Posted 2006) [#6]
hmmm...thats odd - how did this happen.. someone should
delete this topic :]

and incase anyone is interested in this..i dont have
it anymore - though, i believe irrlicht now has a b3d
importer, so if you need C++ code..you might want to
check that out..

skid - i have no idea why i posted this here..musta seemed
like a good idea at the time.
