Let me know what you think.

This attack goes directly for an enemy in Tecno :)

(right click -> save target as ...)
(800kb)

Thanks to Sweenie for the help about how to attach a tokamak body to a Blitz entity.

I don't think so, but if you get less than 30fps at any time, then let me know what are your specs.

bye!
Paolo.

Screenshots would be nice, as would a ZIP file that actually had some files in it.

Paolo(Posted 2004) [#3]
I have just downloaded the file from the link above and it all works just fine ... are you right clicking > Save target as ???

Picklesworth(Posted 2004) [#4]
Nice work Paolo!

I had no idea tokamak could do that so well :)
Nice job in getting the rope to act properly. That must have been rather interesting.

Paolo(Posted 2004) [#5]
Yeap!
The thing is you can re-position animated bodies correctly with simply calling the TokAB_SetPosition(), and if you have rigid bodies attached to it, then they follow it very good ...
This is opening some more posibilities I think ... :)

Very nice... was flashing and giving me an eppy, until I turned Vsync off on my gfx card...

I think maybe its got something to do with my TFT monitor?

All blitz stuff used to be fine on my CRT but since getting this flat panel some things have been acting a bit strange.

Constant framerate of about 20fps, no lower than 20 and no higher than about 23 fps.

Machine specs:

500 Mhz AMD K6,
256 MB RAM
Geforce 2 MX
Windows 98SE

Paolo(Posted 2004) [#8]
@Matty
Does it still keep at 20 if you leave nothing on the screen?
if so, then I think you may have some kind of background
soft slowing it down (an antivirus may be?)
because it shouldn't be so slow ... :(
or may be the fact that it's running in
1024x768 could cause a slowdown in your pc ...

Paolo.

Super cool!!!!!!!
Love the physics on the rope thing and the whip!!

Please tell me how you did the "flame trail"!

I want to make a 3D light trail for an arrow off of a bow.

Matty(Posted 2004) [#11]
Framerate jumps to about 50-60 fps after I move the camera so that it no longer faces anything.
