www.next-dimension.org/soc/soc5.rar (5MB)
Before you start soc.exe, please run config.exe!
And press the Buttons F4 (Nightvision) and F3 (Blurmode) ;)

Not RAR again!

WildStorm(Posted 2004) [#3]
why not?

Ross C(Posted 2004) [#4]
Some people can't be bothered downloading the free RAR tools to uncompress it.

I found the Slowdown!
Put this mesh ( www.next-dimension.org/soc/updates/water.3ds (about 2KB)) in maps\promotion\objects\mesh

(and please tell me your FPS rates!)

pretty cool blur mode, night vision maybe needs to be a bit more "snow-stormy". How did you do the lightmap, looks like gile[s]?

WildStorm(Posted 2004) [#8]
Yes, it's created with gile[s]!
My mapper is back from hollydays, that means that maybe there weill be a new demo next week with a real map, not a mix of maplet and cinema4d etc.
I've also build frustrum culling in(?) and made the blurmode pretty fast (speeded up for about 20-30 fps!)

wizzlefish(Posted 2004) [#9]
I've tried RAR uncompressers like Xace - it didn't work!

Ross C(Posted 2004) [#10]
Try winrar :)

_PJ_(Posted 2004) [#11]
hmm 2 whole TRIs for the night-vision. I guess that's a filter sprite slapped over the camera or summink ;-)
