I found Demo 4 of the CSP Engine on the latest PC Action Magazine, pretty cool. Second Edition, circulation around 100k copies.

I am too lazy to translate it, he makes some jokes and the last phrase says something like "Not bad Mr. Marfurt, really not bad".

I'm equally lazy, but publicity is always good. Congrats.

Thanks. If they don't say anything negative, that's already very fine.

Oh sweet ;) Great job jfk!

Yes! PR counts, and you deserve it.

Gabriel(Posted 2004) [#6]
Yeah, PC Action are very good, very supportive of Indie Developers. Good job.

Thanks :) you know, this is the first time they write something about it.

slenkar(Posted 2004) [#8]
Herr Marfurt did you send the game into the mag or did they find it themselves?

BlitzSupport(Posted 2004) [#9]
Yeah, well done JFK!

Tha :) Slenkar - I sent it to softgames.de, they do tests and sometimes recommend some games to the magazine.

po(Posted 2004) [#11]
That is so cool! None of the magazines I know have indy sections :(

Dreamora(Posted 2004) [#12]
That is due to their cooperation with softgames.de.
they now need far less time to look for free games for their discs and put some stuff from softgames.de in it :)

-> good german indies have much more fun now :)

the sad thing is that there isn't any word of Blitz3d in the article and that could need some PR as well, especially as there is a german DBP version ( 3D games creator ) ... but thats a normal problem to blitz isn't it :(

Well, I didn't tell them about Blitz. But Blitz is named in the Credits.

Now if only Blitz Research would support this engine the same as the engine supports Blitz.

While Singularity is on official Reference (tho you can't download it anywhere), and Plasma 3004 has it's own sticky zombie thread, this engine, that is BTW the only FPS engine that I know of that really works and can be used for real games (byside some bugs that are still inside, of course, I am not god, not yet) seems to be kind of ignored. However, as a result of the PC Action Article a Budget Cinema Movie Producer has contacted me and asked me to produce a Promotion Game.

You'll never be a doctor in your own home village.

That's why I like TGC.
