Currently there is only a Demo:

Thanks Eikon,Andy, jfk, ill put -some- screens up:

Demo

!Needed! update: http://www.megaworm.com/uploads/adds.zip
control option update: http://www.megaworm.com/uploads/adds_2.zip
http://www.megaworm.com/uploads/U_KEY_zelda_demo.zip
(the second one is an exe of the game that utilises the altered controls: it exists in the first one , but the zip ignored its thumnail for some reason so its 'invisible')

Use Return and Delete on the equip menu screens to equip your sword and shield (i've not nearly finished the controls organisations). This is my first game, so lets just say, creepy bugs exist above the normal ones.

I also made a General_Leo (final fantasy VI) based fangame demo last week, but the only connection is in the Graphics used:

psst... if you link directly to the download and have screenshots in this thread, you'll get a lot more feedback.

Looking good :)

And as feedback, fantastic work aab, I must admit the first zelda game I played ever was windwaker so Im not sure if that hand is supposed to keep grabbing me. But I recognise the game style and you have done very well.

I cant equip the sword though, how do you do it?

Aab,

Wow this looks really good - does it have the zelda music too (I know the music is available in midi form on the Internet)?

I bet this is the coolest 2d game ever written in blitz - I hope your storyline and the game itself is as good as it looks - perhaps you should 'talk' to the big 'N'.

IPete2.

IPete2:
I'm keeping far from MIDI's: thats one reason the Demos so big (12 megs of Sfx and Music)
Mp3s and Wavs are hard to find, but i find them every now and again. I'm trying to use as many of the actual Sfx i can find: i chop and change a few with SoundRecorder though, and as for music there a few random Daft Punk songs, beepy Zelda NES songs and orchestrated final fantasy themes holding slots right now:until i find all the music i need.

The music will mostly be better versions of the snes games.
The Demo uses the Dungeon-Deku-Tree's atmospheric sounds from Ocarina of Time (N64), one of the best games of all time...

I've been at that Zelda Classic site before (i think).
good challenging game
There's a BS zelda somewhere as well (released on Japan Satellite TV many a year ago): Its like a harder version of the old Nes game

I wouldnt go near nintendo unless you want your a$$ kicked. This looks great, but there was once a Zelda remake that got popular- nintendo stepped in and cropped it.

i personally think they shoulda bought him out. Zelda Online is a great idea..

*continues to wait for "broken shards" to download*
