Just a small update of the classic Vic-20 game Blitz!

I made it in a couple of evenings for the Blitzcoder One Button competition. It isn't great but is fairly small (864kb) and does include some source code.

Nice version of the classic game Shane. I wrote a version for my nephew as a demo of coding. I remember Blitz being the first game I loaded on my brand new Vic-20 all those years ago :)

Thanks for the comment.

Blitz was the first game I bought on cassette for my Vic-20.

I had owned a Vic-20 for six months before getting the C2N cassette recorder so it was great when I could finally save the programs that I'd been typing in!!

I updated this game in August to version 1.02 (anybody clicking the link since then will have got the new version anyway). I added a few things with the update including some tiny particle effects, different coloured backgrounds and the time taken to land has been shortened if you complete the level early.

Source code for version 1 is also included in the download.
