| Don't know if this should go in the Art Showcase, but all my other TU shots have gone here, so.. A Gorgon Carrier - let me know what you think and/or improvements... (the idea is that the 'superstructure' attached to the side of the craft can detach and fly around.)    |

| Allrighty, this looks great! Best looking screen yet, IMO (not that others have been bad, but this is just SO good). Good design, grouping of colors and all that. Don't change a thing! :) |

| Thanks for the replies SSS It's a 3d tank game with a bit o' FPS. MrTricks Am working towards another demo. Won't be in the next month though. Cyberheater Thanks - took a while to do - creating this sort of stuff is time consuming. Tried to add panelling with textures, but just wasn't working, particulary at close ranges. In the end I had to 'stencil' and bevel (in lightwave) to get the sort of detail I want. I've used textures to add subdued 'sub-panelling' which works well. 7165 polys in the end, which I think is ok. Foppy It's the 'home' of the main baddie's second in command (no, he's not called Sark). The 'bridge' is the sphere in the centre of the 'superstructure'. Can fire down at player from (high) above and launch flyers. Grisu What's 'Tron'? (just kidding) |
