Just an announce, I listend to all the suggestions in the prior post and went to work.. Blitzgrass v1.2 will be released sometime today.. added: -occullsion system -game space broken up into cells -extra extra large map support -better z-alpha sorting -80% increase in overall speed -tighter optimizations to the core -prettier grass! -growth effects -fade-in - fade-out levels -new clipping controls! Still to come: animation conrtols overall this is a 100% improvement over the prior release and I can hardly wait to post a demo later today... Yeah I wana see the demo. HUGE map full of grass at a good healthy frame rate is what I really wana see though. |
