| Okay, well here by some 'sort-of' demand is more of my stuff. One is a mp3 and the others are wma (If you're using Mozilla you'll probably have to get a plugin to play wma but, Internet Explorer will play WMA in browser otherwise just save it and play it in your media player that supports wma, this is copyrighted stuff so if you want to use it in a game (which is probably highly unlikely since I didn't really make these with game music in mind) then just email me and lemme know, and give credit! Comments are welcome and criticism as well but, if it's just not your cup of tea 'battery acid' and 'most horrid' are not considered constructive ;) This is original effects and mixes not a bunch of loops samples that came on a cd or something. The 'First' song of the 3 part Transmission series was actually made after Part 2. http://sites.gwala.net/tormented/ihr/t1.wma Part 2, I did this first, messing around with a TS404 synth. http://sites.gwala.net/tormented/transmission2.mp3 Part 3, which veered off the style of the other two was were I tested out a double-layered vocoder, i.e. a vocal part sampled over an instrumental part. When I was in the Marine Corps (Marine Forces Pacific) in Hawaii they told us we couldn't go to 'raves' and if a party turned into a 'rave' we had to go. So, how were we to know if a party turned into a rave? Here it is. 'Warning, Warning all MarForPac personell leave the building, Rave starts in 5,4,3,2,1.....this is a private rave' I did all the vocal effects and voices for this, and also the siren you hear at the beginning of this song is actually a sound I made with my mouth then tweaked out to sound sireny. http://sites.gwala.net/tormented/ihr/mfprave.wma Kewl.... |

| Yeah, I thought getting Hawaii was a spot of luck but, it turned out only 3 people in our class asked to go to Hawaii so they actually ended up sending 7 of us. I was a field radio operator in artillery, I also did a stint my last year as a staff instructor at Jungle Warfare Training Center (like the SERES course on GI JANE) For a lot of my stuff I use Fruity Loops for making loops/sequences and sound effects. I use Magix Music Maker to arrange my loops and stuff and add some after effects like step echoes. Magix is a bad music maker but, a good arranger program drag/drop/slice/dice/copy/etc. music/video/images into one file. I use Razor Lame for exporting/converting files to mp3. I use my Turntables 2 sa2200 Gemini's for scratching/mixing/and remixing stuff from time to time. I'm also pondering getting 'Final Scratch' or something like that for mixing/scratching my own original files. I used to use Voyetra Wave Editor back in the day as well. |
