I have worked on two tracks for my game. One a villains march which will be used to introduce the evil king. The other is a remake of a Amiga song which I will use purely for setting the mood. This is the song Rings Of Medusa.

Both songs are still being worked on but seeing my nature of doing a lot of stuff at the same time I might not work on them for a while. So I'd though I would share em here just for fun.

This song still needs more tempo, volume variation and more theme's, balancing ect. so it will change a lot :

This song still needs a lot of work. I tweaked the global and local settings on my Yamaha hardware (thats a first) And it is making it easier to get results.

The bass might be a little to hard on the second song seeing as I am having difficulties finding a right method of producing the music.

Really cool music! I have much respect for people who can produce stuff like this :) An inspiration for sure!

ps! something in villains.mp3 reminded me of lechuck in monkeyisland which is a good thing ^^

That game rocked! :)

Btw, I have been working on this song today. Romantic (yack!) music.

Oh, and I wrote this song (fun platform style) and have no project for it. If anyone wants to use it then be my guest. The file needs to be cut in pieces since its a draft.

Cool stuff, I like orchestral like stuff myself. I'm pretty good with piano and string lines myself but, need some work on the rest.

Learning to write orchestral music is time consuming. I ordered a book once but it was useless. Instead I learned a number of things from looking thru orchestral midi files and from several tips from people.
It takes time but I think it was worth it.
