Hi all.

4 new shots of the CENTURY project.

The water texture is a test,is not the final texture.

I hope that like you.

i only see one screen shot, however... the light and shadow, textures, landscape and architecture are top notch.

Trees seem a bit out of place as far as beauty is concerned. Maybe some better leaf textures?

Looks good! I think the water looks too bright compared to the rest of the place, use a darker blue\green I think.

Ey, this looks very similar to something I am working on! (lol)

I hope that like you.
It's 'I hope you like that', but oh well ;)

I have also made a big progress on the coding part of Century, I have added Blitz Virtual Machine to the engine, with a set of high level functions and Types (in a very similar way than high-level engines like OGRE) accesibles from the scripts, so now the game is completely scriptable.

Now, I have to start making some AI stuff (waypoints and that).

very nice. I like the blueish foglike mountains on the skybox. also: impressive lightapping. I assume this is all static lightmapping - what is the size of the lightmap, or do you use multiple lightmaps?

Mmmm, muy simpatico :)
Me da ganas de jugar con eso, y mas, de ir alla de vacaciones ;p (OK, dejo aqui, ja no soy muy bueno en espanol LOL)

BTW, I hoped to have some information about the game and tried your site (www.softiberia.tk), but only got an error.

Sorry, the webpage is spanish-only by now, and, in fact, we post more information about the game here than in the webpage lol

Thanks all for your posts.

JFK: I use multiple lightmaps (for example each house has its own lightmap),in the level and yes, is static lightmapping.

Other image.

The character has basic light and shadows in the texture.

I don't know why, but the first screenshot at the top of the thread really reminds me of Black and White. Also the player model in the last screenshot reminds me of both Thief and Deus Ex 2.

Nice Character! BTW I think this is the best outdoor game scene made for blitz. I don't now the playability, but the look is 1A.
