| After sweating at the keyboard for another 4 days, I've got another update. I've added a High Score (World Wide) feature. This will allow anyone with an internet connection to enter his/her highscore (if it qualifies as a highscore) and name to claim bragging rights. The top 10 scores are displayed once the game ends. You can also view the top 100 scores on my website. All this takes place in real-time. I've also added a scrolling message at the bottom of the screen which only appears once the game has ended which can display dynamic text from my web server. This feature could be used to inform people of the latest happenings in my world of 3D Breakout (Distraction Style) or simply update daily messages. And all this is done without recompiling. I've added a much needed installer. This shall make it easier to install and uninstall the game. Give it a try guys and get on the TOP 10 highscore list :) Download it now! |
