Hey that's pretty cool ! :) ...

Beaker(Posted 2003) [#3]
Very nice. Why the conversion to lwo and not x/3ds?

Are people buying 3D models like such for $15 at turbosquid???

I may consider putting up my models on turbosquid some day, I don't know what to charge. It would be of this character, although this one isn't finished yet:

O_o er.. Nice!

showoff! ~ lol

Imphenzia(Posted 2003) [#7]
lol =) I was just shocked at $15 for a low poly house, no offence to the designer of course, as those are very useful in 3d games etc. But after I posted my post I noticed on turbosquid, a house with even less polygons for $69... what is the world coming to?

I suppose I did try to make a statement =)

If you think thats overpriced, marvel at this work of art. An elongated cube primitive - yours for only $18.00.

Imphenzia(Posted 2003) [#9]
Oh my .... =)
Maybe it's by someone famous... I've seen some of those "modern art" paintings or whatever it should be called, heh :D

Beaker(Posted 2003) [#10]
gfk - you missed this lovely triangle.

well, justlook around...

... the price of housing nowadays is astronomical.

and don't even try to get into a 3 bedroom elongated cube!!!

MasterBeaker

Here is the model in 3ds format

To rest:
I try to base my model price on what other people are selling the same quality models on.

How are you doing with sales for this model, Starfox? Just curious about whether selling models on TurboSquid is profitable.

starfox(Posted 2003) [#14]
I haven't sold anything on TurboSquid yet, but I still have some hope:)

Imphenzia(Posted 2003) [#15]
Might be worth looking here as well: http://www.3d02.com

It's a site like TurboSquid, but less objects (especially no triangles or boxes :) at good prices. Saw car packs with 8-12 very detailed cars for under $200.

Only problem, site is in Thailand and appears to be quite slow at times.
