2,000 polygons for a house sounds small to me. Remember, we're not talking some little object which only ever takes up a tiny fraction of the screen, we're talking about the entire building the character inhabits. I'm curious at this point what the house will be used for. Will it mostly be scenery as part of a larger landscape or will you spend a lot of time hanging around inside? This makes a big difference as far as appropriate polygon count. |
