Then again CFX doesn't require much more Feature IMHO. Yes, this looks very! promising. I wonder where do you guys get your B3D Animation Fileformat Descriptions from?

Looks 1A-top-wesseltonish.

Yeah, i agree. Looks fabulous :D

There are alot of tools coming out for blitz right now, all made in blitz i believe. Build your meshes with quill. Animate them with this cool looking package, then use tattoo to skin 'em.

Lookin' good... but perhaps a little *too* dark.

Ross - I reccommend to use this Order:

Model
UV-Map/Skin
Animate

You still can edit the Textures in the End, but most UV-Mappers cannot save Animated Files.

However.

The colour schemes will be totally user configurable - here's a 'lighter' view....

Ross C(Posted 2003) [#10]
I like the one view thing and the big points for the vertexs. All looks very obvious and clean :)

@jfk, thanks for the tip :)

looks great , well done so far.

poopla(Posted 2003) [#12]
How are you rendering the edges like that btw? Looks gr8.

Skitchy(Posted 2003) [#13]
If you get the Walk Designer/Generator working then I'll buy a copy. It'll have to do running as well though ;)

Rob Pearmain(Posted 2003) [#14]

Gimme Gimme Gimme ;-)

If you need a beta tester, count me in

I wouldn't mind having a good look at it either ;-)

I'm hoping to get something to send out to anyone who'd like to help with testing this weekend - I just need to finish off the basic FK animation tool - the IK is going to take a bit longer.

I don't expect this to be a CharacterFX beater from the very start although I do have plans to keep adding features that will hopefully make it as useful in the future.
I am concentrating on making it as easy as possible to use.
I will release a 'Basic Tools' version for free this will include everything except for the IK tools and the Walk Generator.

@Psionic - I'll be sending you a full version when its finished in return for the many contributions you have made to the Blitz community in way of Models and Tutorials - thanks mate !
