Great Graphics as usual, Filax! I still wonder how you fixed the Alpha - Z-Order Problem.

mighty nice looking!

800 x 600 @ 32, ~180 trees, 20-25fps

Superb stuff... the nightvision effect is nice too. Is this planned for a screensaver? I would definitely put this on my work computer if it is :)

Filax(Posted 2003) [#6]
Yes screen blanker in progress

Filax - this is fantastic, one of the most graphically impressive demos I've seen in Blitz. I spent ages just wandering about looking at the scenery!

Just out of curiosity - is this a Blitz terrain with a colourmap or is it a mesh with vertex colours?

HNPhan(Posted 2003) [#8]
very cool, how did you fix the alpha z-order?

Filax(Posted 2003) [#9]
for the zorder, i have just use the WBUFFER command

JoshK(Posted 2003) [#10]
What did you use to make the terrain and plants?

Filax(Posted 2003) [#11]
3DS MAx and photoshop only

JoshK(Posted 2003) [#12]
Great job. How about posting the foliage models so others can use them?

After the night vision (left clik during the demo) we work on a thermal vision . . .

Nebula(Posted 2003) [#15]
Its mighty nice. I do keep falling thru the terrain.

Wiebo(Posted 2003) [#16]
Very cool. When I look up the skybox disapears though.
