Just made this to test out a lightmap tool (Luminaire) I found. Might make a small Fallout-style environment later.

Comments and critique are welcome.

Nice red cross in a white box ;)

It looks pretty nice, though there's something weird about the lightmapping. It kinda seems like there's outlines in places there shouldn't be. Nice modelling work. I'm a big ( well huge ) Fallout fan so I'd certainly like to see a Fallout-style environment. ( Or game ;) )

Terribly sorry about that image link. Seems I forgot to make it go through Anonymizer.
Corrected.. sortof:

I guess giving the ground lightmap a good ol' blur had a side-effect ;)

Now all you need is a few trees surrounding the lean-to... a small fire centered in those rocks, and a few hunters sitting around waitng for the coffee to get hot...

Lookin' good so far..

Hey, Noel... (not to hijack the thread or anything, just curious), you feelin' more 'comfortable' with Blitz3D as opposed to the other development tool you were using ?

The new pic is much too dark. The old pic looked nice, though if it was supposed to be a night scene it is perhaps 2x as bright as it should be.

Its diffcult to see wjhat is actully see what is going on in places( bit dark.) Are you going to texture it too. i can see the idea is good though.

Red: Yep. Much better than 3dGS. Now, onto your suggestion. About the trees.. they wouldn't exactly fit, since this'd be like Fallout and, as far as I recall there were no alive trees. Even so, I'll scrape together a few dead trees.

SSwift: Yep, I noticed that after I checked this thread from another computer. It is a night scene, but it's not supposed to be that dark.

Ruz: I finished the texturing mostly (still some not quite noticeable stretching on the roof of it).

A screenshot, a few problems with the blending 'cause I used alpha.. I'm also working on brightening it up.

Do not use a download manager, or this link will not work.
Hope it's a neat to look around in for a few minutes. ;)
