I took a photo of my car from the front side and back. Traced the edges in milkshape and filled in the gaps... okay, it wasn't as straight forward as that but hey!

The put it into lith-unwrap and put the photos on the faces.

The textures aren't finished as they don't join up properly yet, but I think it's turing out alright!

Can you tell what car it is?

You've got a chick car :)

It's a car which someone has stolen the wheels from.

Zace(Posted 2003) [#4]
It is also illegal, despite having no wheels, as there is no tax disk and a different number plates on the front and back.

LOL !

In fact you'd be lucky to see through the windows :/

Rob Farley(Posted 2003) [#7]
Why do I bother?! :)

It's a Volkswagen, but don't ask me which Volkswagen :P

I had a crack at this as well.
Did the same as you Doc.
A bit rough around the edges. The texturing is a pain in Milkshape:

You can get the Milkshape version Here if your desparate!

You don't really want an answer to that do you?

Doggie

Ken Lynch(Posted 2003) [#13]
Did doggie do himself "doggie style"? :-D

(Sorry, couldn't resist)

The car without the wheels reminds me of the time I lived in Liverpool.

Nice model by the way.

Anthony Flack(Posted 2003) [#14]
Good god, I'm sorry I asked.

Foppy(Posted 2003) [#15]
It's Volkswagen Polo, isn't it! It says so on the back too. I think the first picture is better than the second one with respect to this reflection effect in the latter, it makes the car look as if it was involved in an accident.

Anthony Flack(Posted 2003) [#16]
Mm, yes, I think it was better before... the mirroring of the texture isn't doing you any favours there.
