Following the palette and fontsprite editor. I'm now working on the map editor.
First up is a shot with a tile font:


next up is an ascii map from a font


and finally the current version with the initial placeholders for layers, etc


Just fielding any queries :)

I will release the file format once it's finalised. but in essence grid size, data layer, data layer

That editor is quite snazzy looking ;)

I've started working on a placement editor myself, except for I'm cheating by doing it in Winforms C#.

Winforms - pussy - lol

here's the latest shot. it's now got zooming and overview top right. as well as x/y sliders to set the resolution:


Also been working on the palette editor and font editor to fix some bugs and add fonts and palettes...

layers are now finished:

Each layer can have a different resolution (if wanted) and up to 16 layers per file.
