After long break HCM (Halved-Circle Mine which is working title only) moves on. Here is my first new movement and rag-doll test video. You rather should go fullscreen if you want to see something :)

Are you using physics on his legs when he climbs the rope? Looks quite cool. Brutal death.

Pingus(Posted 2015) [#3]
Is it made with bmax ?

BlitzSupport(Posted 2015) [#4]
Nice.

Matty(Posted 2015) [#5]
Very good. Poor miner.

I like the way you made the hard hat fall independently, a lot of developers wouldn't put in as much effort as you've done here.

xlsior(Posted 2015) [#7]
Nice natural-looking motion!

Of course :)

Thanks. I must admit I'm detail freak.

No - it is predefined animation (motion captured).

Steve Elliott(Posted 2015) [#10]
Great stuff! Amazing detail...and horrible death - ouch!

Brucey(Posted 2015) [#11]
So you motion-captured someone falling off a cliff?

RemiD(Posted 2015) [#12]
The animations are really well made, congrats for that.

This one was rag-doll, done thanks to your fantastic box2d mod :)

stayne(Posted 2015) [#14]
Are you planning on including music or ambient-type music?

wookie(Posted 2015) [#15]
Are you planning on including music or ambient-type music?

Yes. Music is a must.

Rick Nasher(Posted 2015) [#16]
Wauw! Impossible Mission meets Prince of Persia meets Pitfall (if that means something to anyone here) ;-)

Very well done. Attractive and indeed very detailed, great movements, love the rope swing and of course the inevitable horrible death of our magic miner guy.

stayne(Posted 2015) [#17]
Cool, holler if you need any ambient stuff. I do it for free (just credit mentions).

I did Darkness, Abyss and Insanity for this one:

@stayne Now is far too early for me to think about music but when time will come I have your link.

Hotshot2005(Posted 2015) [#19]
Really Good and remind of Flashback on Amiga :)

I know you used BlitzMax but What Game Editor do you used for storing levels?

Rick Nasher(Posted 2015) [#20]
You are right Hotshot2005, forgot to mention Flashback, one of my all-time favorites. Would really love to see how this evolves.

John G(Posted 2015) [#21]
Played Flashback on Mac thru to the end. Fun.

Hardcoal(Posted 2015) [#22]
