Over the the last month I've got my programming mo-jo back. I've been working on this religiously, determined to get it done very early next year. I've been ironing out all the niggling issues and completing the original to-do list step by step.

Things I have now completed:

Done:

* 30 Timed Challenges - To unlock some Team Games, Levels and Vehicles
* 26/26 Team Games
* 18/19 Levels
* 23/24 Vehicles
* Sandbox Mode

To Do:

* 1 Level - need to create a level specific model for this.
* 1 vehicle - almost compled
* Timetrial mode - almost completed - just need to set out the checkpoints for each level.
* AI - a few tweeks
* Challenges - sort out the order and the unlockables - almost complete.

Anywho, it's all looking pretty good to get this one over the line early 2015.

Spooky, I was looking at this in the gallery today. Glad to see it's on it's way.

Fantastic news - been following this since it first appeared - looking forward to seeing more progress as it happens.

Thanks for the update! I have been waiting for this for a long time.

Win! Where's the 'Like' button?

Microsprint will continue to keep me busy until then. :)

ervin(Posted 2014) [#11]
Woohoo!!! It's alive!!!
Readying my wallet to throw money at the screen!

Stevie G(Posted 2014) [#12]
Thanks folks! Last level specific model complete - my take on HMS Illustrious. It took fecking ages to do today and I've still got a few tweeks to go but I'm happy with the results so far ..

I'll need to upload the latest version of that ... there are now 140 tracks, overhanging bends and jumps ..

Gimbal lock! Love it.

Really nice graphics style! Sorry for the stupid question, but this is Blitz3d right?

Wiebo(Posted 2014) [#15]
I love those 90's style filled polygons :) Well done so far, Stevie!

Holy cow, yes please! And do mention when you've done it... as otherwise I'm not sure I'll know...

[edit] Aah, I see you sent out an update for v2, but sadly indievania.com (whence my Microsprint came) is no more. Sadface. I hope you know that. [/edit]

Wow! 140 tracks, coolio and the gang ;)

Microsprint looks great, I was always Supersprint fan, loved the 3 wheel multiplayer on the arcade machine.

Quick Easter update. Still slowly but surely working through my ever decreasing "todo" list.

Here's a few screenshots of some of the Vehicles / Games I created a while back which I don't think I've shown yet:

Main Screen with new/better font ( I think )

The Baja

Looking pretty awesome. Any vids?

ImaginaryHuman(Posted 2015) [#24]
Love it

Blitzplotter(Posted 2015) [#25]
Looking good!

Steve Elliott(Posted 2015) [#26]
Actually, it plays better than it looks - there was a demo back some time ago. But I do love the untextured poly look anyway :)

Grisu(Posted 2015) [#27]
I demand a demo! ;)

Stevie G(Posted 2015) [#28]
Fraps really does suck!! To get footage at full frame rate I had to reduce the resolution to 640x480 and record at half size! Then, the quality drops even more when uploaded to youtube :(

I'll need to look into other options when I get round to doing a proper trailer I think - might even be best to use my phone.

Anywho, for what it's worth.

DAMNIT, me wants this so badly. I throw money at the screen but it just bounces off....

Stevie G(Posted 2015) [#30]
Here's slightly better quality footage on Vimeo of the 'Loonball Rally' party game.

Nice videos. I hope, that you will finish this.

OldNESJunkie(Posted 2015) [#32]
Just out of curiosity, have you tested this with Ploppy's Hybrid? Curious to hear whether it ran or not...

Nope, never tried it. As far as I can tell it isn't feature complete yet. I don't want to get side tracked at this stage.

Good point I guess, was just a random question that popped in my head so I typed her up.....
