Working on a female model to release, this is really stressful time but I think worth it.

RemiD(Posted 2013) [#2]
Not bad. You are improving your modeling skills. :)

Please try to color this mesh with materials (skin, eyes, lips, hair, clothes) to see how it looks.

Format b3d low poly.

Kryzon(Posted 2013) [#6]
At first look, it's very nice. I think the arms may be too long?

I like the low-poly head.

RemiD(Posted 2013) [#7]
Yue>>I am curious, with which software have you done the UVMapping ? Blender ? Fragmotion ?

The texture looks good. I am jealous. Well done.

You want to add more vertices and triangles near the joints so that it is possible to set the influence of a joint over some vertices at 100% and the influence over others vertices at 50%. this will allow the body part to be bent without loosing its thickness.

Yue(Posted 2013) [#8]
@RemiD it's Blender Tool.

They are:with arms stretched out, fingertip to fingertip should be the same width as the height of a person. In this case the arms are indeed wider.

If you're looking to model humans, a great site is www.3d.sk -- it has TONS of reference photos and videos of humans, and is aimed at 3D artists and game developers.

Includes common game poses, actions, and fighting stances.

True low poly modeling is becoming a lost art. This is light years better than my first attempt at a human character.

RemiD(Posted 2013) [#11]
In my opinion there are too many joints.
For example, why is there a joint at the middle of the upper arm ? Take a look at a human skeleton, there is no joint here...
Same remark for the 2 joints on the upper chest.

TaskMaster(Posted 2013) [#12]
To be fair, joints in the chest area (upper body) can simulate the backbone. But you are correct, that extra joint in the upper arm seems strange.

Yue(Posted 2013) [#13]
Bones extras are thought to engage a subject's arm as a bracelet or something, also I miss putting the bone back to a backpack.

You're definitely improving. First pics of the mesh look good and the texture is decent.

The final thing looks a bit weird, however I think it can be improved massively with some tweaking. I think the main problem is the eye looks way too high up the head; they should be roughly half way up.

Make Human, male model.

female model.

Iowalien(Posted 2013) [#16]
you should probably remove those images as they may not be appropriate for all users or maybe an admin or moderator should lock this topic...

Steve Elliott(Posted 2013) [#17]
omg lmao...stick some clothes on them mate.

big10p(Posted 2013) [#18]
Yeah, not that much call for naked people in games. Unless that guy, who used to be on these forums, is doing an update of his porno chess game...

Yue(Posted 2013) [#19]
oops! Sorry.

GaryV(Posted 2013) [#20]
Good job on the female model/

Iowalien(Posted 2013) [#21]
I just wonder if it is possible to 3dprint the last one at actual size.

Yue(Posted 2013) [#22]
@Iowan
I do not understand very well what you say, the translator of google does not help me, print me refers to printing on photo or something?

A greeting.

GaryV(Posted 2013) [#23]
Yue: You should consider putting some of your models up for sale. I loved your space ship ones and love this last one of the female. You have done a good job.

Yue(Posted 2013) [#24]
The downside is that I have no bank account to open a paypal account, but could open one but I think a requisitio that's necessary to have a credit card and a single account can not open paypal.

Rather what I can make is that if someone needs models or things I can do for the order and agree to pay by other means, it's just an idea.
