I found a web tool called ShaderFrog earlier and thought it looks like it could be a great tool for generating shaders for use in Monkey.

Opening blurb:
Shader Frog is a WebGL shader editor that lets you design shaders without writing code.

Shader Frog lets you create visual effects by composing two or more shaders together, and tweaking their parameters. You can build a complex effect out of simple components. You can then export your shader for use in your THREE.js game or application.

It only targets Three.js at the moment as it says, but one of the future targets is raw GLSL - which I is where I'm wondering if it may be any use to us lot on here?

I have little knowledge of shaders other than I remember a post saying Monkey had one big shader or something like that - what that means I have no idea though!

If anyone a bit more clued up wants to take a look and chime in :)

For simple 2d shaders, something like Polydraw might work better.
