With the announcement of MX2 I am wondering will MX2 be able to compile monkeyX code without modification? I ask as I have projects currently in some state of development and would like to whack em to MX2 when its out there.

I think a list of changes somewhere would be good too :)

Mark had mentioned that he hopes that MonkeyX code will be reusable without much modification. So I guess you will have to do some porting work.

MX2

Oddly drawn to that as well :)

Me too lol

It actually feels cooler to say "MX2" rather than "Monkey-2". Alright, i'm going with this one over the original BlitzBollox title.

Samah(Posted 2015) [#7]
I still like BlitzNext.

I still like BlitzNext.

Wow...thats actually kinda difficult for me to say correctly.

EdzUp(Posted 2015) [#10]
BMX2 was the code name for MonkeyX

Wow...on second thought, you're right. :/

Maybe MonkeyNext would be cleaner?

@EdzUp: BMX2 was the code name for MonkeyX

Correct, but technically it was Monkey then, not Monkey X.

Eh...i rather have it so that I don't have to say "monkey". I'm still liking MX2 :).

I've just found a folder in my computer with this name and a first Monkey alpha with a ultra small jungleide versoin (it was called LemonIde at that time). It's nice to see how much it's been all improved!
