Any other's ?

I just pulled out my 8 year olds 3DS from santa, you know to TEST ;) <wink> and make sure it's all charged up etc. and I noticed its got an appstore style game store type thing, where you can buy new games, it's got lots of stuff on it already and it made me wonder if this was open the same way iPhone and other markets are open.

Does anyone have any info on this what the developer licence costs, and most of all, is there or are there any plans for a 3DS target for monkey ?

While I am here, are there any official comments on plans to expand the officially supported target list, I know third parties have done some other targets, some one working on a BlitzMax target, some one else working on Amiga, is there a list of all of these any where ?

3DS has the same requirements like the Wii. Here you can take a look: http://www.ehow.com/how_4597196_develop-nintendo-wii-game.html

How should a indie developer pay this to create a monkey target for 3ds?

DS != Wii != 3DS

Isnt the 3DS a DS with just the 3D slider ;)

Well if that WII info applies to the 3DS they can suck on my balls.

I hope its not. I hope its more like the xbox and other common sense platforms. seems odd that they would make you jump through silly hoops like that for the DS or 3DS .

In resurrection...
I recently learned that the Wii has a Nintendo-Approved Web browser supporting both HTML and flash. Does that mean webGL stuff could be run on it as a homebrew?

No, not unless they have recently updated it.

The Flash is a custom Flash called 'Flash Lite' and the browser is made by Opera, version 9, and I don't think allows WebGL.

Boo...
Oh well, I don't even own new consoles like the wii.
Thanks for the answer.
Maybe I can hack it up anyway...

I would not evn bother with consoles. Imagine apple's ios rules but 100 times worse.

Thats one helluva list of criteria to fulfill!
