For those not on the monkey forum, I have released add-ons for two popular editors to enable Monkey support. They support syntax colouring, keyword expansion and completion and building/compilation. TextMate supports a few more things such as context sensitive help. TextMate (Mac OS X) - this also works with E! editor on Windows, and others https://github.com/gingerbeardman/monkey.tmbundle Sublime Text 2 (Windows, Mac OS X, Linux) https://github.com/gingerbeardman/monkey.sublime More information at the links above. Let me know what you think. matt Last edited 2011 |

Let me know what you think I think that this is a great idea. More support for a range of general-purpose IDEs and text editors is one of the things that BRL products have really been lacking up to now, and this is a step in the right direction. Great for users (yay freedom of choice) and great for the product (widespread support may lead to greater adoption). (That said, I haven't tried these yet and in fact am not using Monkey currently, so...) |
