IS the monkey IDE written in Monkey? In the same way that the Bmax IDE is written in Bmax.

Specifically dose Monkey IDE run on all the target platforms.

Also similar question, what platform does Ziggys IDE run on?

Monkey IDE (Monk), is written in BlitzMax (it's a modified version of MaxIDE).

BLIde runs on Windows only, as does JungleIDE.

[edit] Just remembered the Monkey IDE has changed to "Ted", which I haven't used and therefore have no clue about.

monkey IDE code name (Ted) is Written in C++ and uses Qt library.

Ted runs in Windows, Mac and Linux the only three platforms monkey can be compiled in. Not all targets can be compiled in each of the three platforms.

Ziggy's ide Works in Windows Only. Not sure if it works on Windows 8.

Yes, it works pretty well on windows 8 both 32 and 64 bits. It's lighter enought to be used on a Mac with Parallels (some users do).
