Ooops I broke my CMD window! (XP)

I was doing something with the command window a few weeks back and the kids asked what I was doing, so I put it into full screen mode to show them what pc operating was like pre-Windows.

Anyway, since then every command line tool opens a full screen window and I can't stop it. With some commands that run long enough I've been able to alt+enter it back to a window and tell Windows to always run this command windowed although I'm not 100% sure it's listening.

Quick command line operations (including firing up maxide) result in a nasty screen flash.

Does anyone know how to reset the command window to windowed-always mode??

Thanks!

Alt+enter it back to a window.
If you right click on the title bar of the cmd window, go to defaults then Edit them

(I am Guessing - Using Win 7 so cannot test)

"Defaults"

Can't believe I over looked that! Damn I've been working too hard :)

Thanks!

You can always type exit (or sometimes quit) to get out of most OS terminals too, including windows's.
