Hi all - I have a google developer account and I can find no way of contacting google about an email I received which I want to report to them - does anyone know if google has an email address?

The email I received was from the address "androidmarketing@..." and looks like this:

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am able to provide 5 star ratings in Google Play:

• More than 1.000 ratings possible
• Each app will be installed and not uninstalled for at least 1 month to not cause bad rankings in Google Play
• Paid apps are also not a problem (price of the app will be added to the normal price)
• There is no minimum order size
• It’s possible to provide 5 star ratings + positive comment
• Only pay after you are 100% satisfied

Price per 5 star rating = $2,00
Price per 5 star rating + positive comment provided by yourself = $2,50

Order more than 100 ratings and get 500 Google Plus +1's for free!

Good ratings will generate more downloads because the app will be listed higher in the Google Play search results.

Best regards,

Jasper

Thanks GfK - not quite what I'm after - that is to request a call - I want to just send them an email...I've looked and it looks like google really doesn't want to receive plain emails...or at least not related to what I want to tell them...

You can also try the Android Dev forum for Google Play, asking other people there about contact:

I'm glad I read your original post again properly! At first I thought you wanted to send that email to prospective devs!!!

Anyhow, Considering this is relating mainly to oogle Play store and is a report of 'bad conduct', their contact page seems incredibly lacking
http://support.google.com/googleplay/bin/request.py?hl=en-gb&contact_type=contact_policy&policy=apps&rd=1

Considering GooglePlay Store is selling online products/services in the UK< it's actually illegal as a breach of regulations to NOT provide a clear, direct contact email address :(

Yikes!

I hope you didn't "unsubscribed" from this email, otherwise you'll receive spam forever from this guy...

Just look at http://mahadev.mp3mirch.com/googleplay/ and you'll see what I mean! The guy whole email spam list free for anyone to see!

Seriously if i responded to every mail i get like this I would spend 4 hours of my day contacting and reporting it to:

Google, Apple, MS, Paypal, LLoyds Bank, HSBC, FSB, Shareit, Facebook, The FBI, CIA, MI6, Mi5, the IRS both UK and US, etc..etc..etc..

I just auto-bin EVERY mail from every service i am on. That way, the next time i log in to their service via a browser i get a real message if applicable, as most services have some kind of customer alert messaging system (as email is so crap!).
Its just phish-spam ignore it. Even attempting to act as an email crusader against this kind of thing is about as futile as trying to bring peace to the Middle East or West Africa.

Dont waste your time.

A single grain of rice can tip the scale.

LOL! true.
(but only when there is a remote chance of the scale being even close to balancing) When talking email/spam, the scale is so off-balance it is making a dent in the table. :D
