I plan on making some vids to show new Jungle Ide and BLIde features, but some of the tools I've been using just do capture with terrible frame rates or at a very bad video quality. I would love to have any suggeation of good free software in this matter.

Hiya,

I've played around with camstudio and its very straight forward, simple to use and free to boot :P

+1 for camstudio

Obviously Fraps.

I use cam studio as well, I would use cam studio over fraps any day.

I tried that CamStudio thing too. Doesn't record sound like I want, doesn't capture games as far as I know. So my choice is Fraps.

A bit late but I recommend HyperCam, Jing and ZD Soft Recorder (game recorder version). PS: You get much faster fps with Zd soft than Beepa Fraps.

I use SnagIT for screen capture and annotation but it also captures video quite nicely.

Huh? I get beyond 60 FPS with Fraps, and 60 when recording.
