Norton whinging about my prototype

| I visited a friend the other day and aked him to try a prototype of something I've been 'toying' with in Blitz 3D for a while. Norton would not permit him to run it due to the viral threat! Its only Blitz 3D and VB6 for a front end. The file (which contains NO viruses) is available here: http://www.wishingwellsoftware.co.uk/setup3DRunPlotter.exe I've raised the issue with Norton - hopefully it'll be tagged as virus free shortly..... Anyone else experience this bother with Norton? |

| Norton whinges about everything and makes your system (and ultimately you) whinge even more! Norton was good once... a long long time ago.. They are just living off the name now (or at least the people who bought the name back in 1990 are!) If Peter was dead he would be spinning in his grave although i can imagine until that happens he will just remain pissed that his name is attached to such crap (although i am sure the millions he got softens the pain) Last edited 2012 |

I'm convinced that Norton's primary form of defense is making a virus feel too embarrassed to install itself on a machine that already runs Norton at the same time. ~ xlsior There is your answer!
