| Hi, I was looking into buying Blitz Max for a friend who has no experience with programming at all. Is this a suitable product for a complete beginner or a 13 year old? Thanks Everyone |

| If I had blitzmax when I was first learning it would have saved a LOT of time and headache. I recommend it to anyone that wants to learn, especially from scratch and that is interested in making games. |

| Blitzmax is easier to learn than many other languages, so I'd say "yes" to that. However, the documentation isn't the best out there -- I'd suggest you also get a copy of this: http://www.amazon.com/Game-Programming-Teens-Maneesh-Sethi/dp/1598635182/ref=ntt_at_ep_dpt_1 Game programming for Teens, it's written explicitly for BlitzMax. |

| Though the documentation has improved a lot over the years, but could still be better. If new to programming I'd also suggest to get that book. |

| The Cover says: Game Programming for Teens third edition. I've read some of it myself. It is BMax not Blitz2D. This should do fine. :) Thanks for your help guys. |
