Hey guys,

I run wordpress on one of my domains, and perhaps I can't quote the question right to find a quick answer on google. I expect some of you have run, or do run wordpress.

On to the question..
Whenever I edit a post, it acts as a comment and asks me to approve it. I'm the only admin and when I edit a post, I simply expect it to update the post, not act as a comment.

Why does this happen? Is there a way to get it to simply update the post without adding to the comments section?

It has me a bit confused.

We run it for quick and easy site content cms but I am not sure wheat you mean by posts. Do you mean it its some kind of forum, blog, wiki or something like that you have set up?

How are you updating the post ?
If you haven't, try logging in to the backend i.e. yourdomain.com/wp-admin
click on Posts/All Posts and then edit the post from there.

Okee,

That appears to be it.

I was editing posts from the dashboard, which I didn't think would be any different as it brought to the same admin dashboard.

Thanks!

The Dash board is your admin area, if your clicking EDIT on the post then its probably an issue with your theme.

we use wordpress as well, I think it's quite simply the best bit of cms software on the net.
