Wanted: 3D models in Direct X format

Has anyone got any models in .x (Direct X) format?
Specifically, single-textured, low-poly, and with faces constructed with 3 or 4 points

I am writing a converter which simplifies the format and re-arranges the data into cleaner, easier to parse layout

So far I have tested models exported from Wings3D but I would like to know if other packages export using the same 'structure' layout

I might also consider wavefont *.obj files but so far, the exporter in Wings3D seems to screw up the texture UV's

Hey Jim,

I have a .x model you can try. Its a multi-mesh, multi-texture model but you may find it useful. This .x is exported from Medieval4D.

There are X models in the assimp test folder:

Thanks Brian
Just as I thought, your exported structure differs a little from what Wings3D produces. This should help me to capture potential errors in parsing the direct x model files
