hey guys I know that I have posted like 20 posts asking about making animations, but i'm a very "asky" person. I took some your guy's advice such as recording myself and looking at it frame by frame, but it didn't work out to well. I then tried looking and studying the animations of professionals and in real games. In this case, I was studying the running animations in Kingdom Hearts. I am attemping to recreate the running animation of sora. Here's the link of 2 videos where sora (the boy) can be seen running the most. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5HADV0hJM4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sweN95fPUb0 I have been repeatedly watching these videos and many other ones so I can study and see what was put into the animations, but I'm still having alot of trouble with it, primarily the motion of his arms and legs. Does anyone have any ideas of how to properly create the running motions of his body? Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks Last edited 2011 |

Get the book "The Animators Survival Kit" by Richard Williams, this specific run animation is in it, as are most of the Disneyesque animation techniques that K.H. uses. |

You don't need the DVDs+Books set, just his early reference book... See... http://www.amazon.co.uk/Animators-Survival-Kit-Principles-Stop-motion/dp/0571202284 |
